Nixco Plumbing – Sewer Line Repair / Replacement

5 Stars for Chris! Our house is in need of some plumbing upgrades so we call Nixco for help. We were lucky enough to get Chris for a second time and as before he was so friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and a total professional. He explained what needed fixing, showed us the issues and gave us a straightforward quote with no pressure. Plus he checked and rechecked everything to make sure all was in order. Problems like this used to stress us out but knowing Chris is on the job is a huge relief! Truly the best in Cincinnati!!

Nixco was a referral from another contractor. I am sure glad that they told me about this company. The two guys Jared and Jeff that came out were extremely knowledgeable and answered my many questions. Will definitely use them going forward.

Jared did a great job with our dripping shower. He showed up early and didn’t take long to complete the job. His knowledge helped us understand the issues we were having. So far I’m very pleased with Nixco and Jared.

I had an outdoor faucet replaced with an inside shut off valve installed. Guys were great and were done in an hour. The discounted price tag was higher then expected based on my research but I wanted to make sure it was done right.

Chris and John replaced our tankless hot water heater. Chris is a repeat technician at our house. Chris and John provided friendly and timely service. They did a thorough and neat job, and left the work area very clean. Hot water heater working great. This was an emergency call and Nixco was provided same-day service.

Audie Reed did my water heater install, and he was very professional and did a great job. It was a bit more than I was expecting to pay (almost $3500 for the tank and labor), but it does come with a 10 year extended warranty. Overall, very satisfactory service, and there was no pressure.

The whole process couldn't have been easier! I scheduled online and got confirmation that my desired date and time were available. On the day of the appointment, I got a text WITH A PICTURE of my technician, which is great for security. I knew that he was on the way. Todd and Paddy arrived in a branded truck and wearing uniforms. The quickly got to work and installed my new kitchen faucet without incident. They were professional, polite, and positively just what we needed. If this is what I can except in the future, I will not hesitate to use Nixco again.

Good service, friendly employees, ease of scheduling

Nixco always does an outstanding job. All their team members are great and hard workers but we really like Shaun’s visits. He a hard worker and a nice guy to talk to.

Sean was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He was respectful of the property, wearing shoe covers while inside and laying out a drop cloth to set the toilet on while he had it removed. He was on time and was efficient.

Called Nixco on Saturday when we discovered we had a burst pipe that runs to the exterior frost-free faucet. They were able to come Monday morning to evaluate and address the issue. We had John & John and they were great! They texted when they were on their way and once here they clearly explained the process they would take to determine the fix, provided options & costs, and then did the work we agreed on. Really appreciated the company’s responsiveness and John & John’s professionalism I doing the work and explaining what was involved. Because the pipe was behind drywall they needed to cut the drywall to access the pipe. They explained this and took great care to make the cut as small as possible and even did it in a way that it can be camouflaged with a cold air return cover. (Note: this was not an emergency so waiting until Monday was doable. Nixco offered emergency service, but it wasn’t necessary in our case.)

We recently bought a new patio home and because of our previous positive experience with Nixco installing an expansion tank on our condo, we turned to them once again for our plumbing needs of our new home. John were fantastic in their customer service, professionalism and expertise in putting in a new sump and back-up sump pump for us. Afterward, I asked them about an expansion tank for our water heater, as I noticed that we did not have one. They had noticed as well. Two days later John & John were back to install an expansion tank, pressure regulator valve and making sure our water pressure was set appropriately. They answered all of our questions and were very thorough in their workmanship and making sure we were completely satisfied. Top notch service! We highly recommend them for any plumbing services you may need.

We've used Nixco several times now and never been disappointed. In fact, we've been quite pleased. Part of that is the fact we got the same technician a couple times and he knows us and we know him now. No idea if it's because of geography or chance, but we'll take it. Nathan is always on time, always explains what he thinks we need, tells us the cost up front, and leaves the place actually cleaner than he finds it. In a trade that gets a lot of bad raps, these guys are changing the narrative. Give 'em a shot. (Nathan has great sense of humor, too!)

Todd Reed and Paddy Omlor, my NixCo Service Technicians, were prompt, knowledgeable, and professional with troubleshooting the problem then removal/replacement of my old expansion tank with new. Todd & Paddy left the job site cleaner than it was when they arrived. I highly recommend NixCo Plumbing.
